3 different ways to wear red lipstick for Christmas
Christmas is coming, and with it, the popularity of the color red! Who doesn’t want a touch of red in their look of the end of the year?
The version of classic red lips
Red Lips Hollywood-style: Line your lips with a red lip liner and fill them in. Then, apply lipstick in the same shade. The lip liner ensures longer-lasting color and makes application easier.
As a professional makeup artist, I often have clients looking for a glamorous wedding look with natural skin and red lips. You can count on me to find the perfect shade of red in my makeup kit that complements your skin tone.
The dark version
The second option is a darker result with a bit of intensity: first, apply a brown lip liner to your lips and blend it from the outside in.
Then, apply a touch of red lipstick. The brown liner underneath intensifies and creates contrast on your lips.
The blurred version in the Korean style
Apply the lipstick to the center of your lips and then blend the color outwards with a brush. This is the blurred effect! For a fresher look, you can use this lipstick as a cream blush on your cheeks. Or, why not add a touch of gloss to your lips? (When it’s cold, a richer, more moisturizing product is ideal.)
